In the article are considered features of leisure of modern youth . An analysis subject is the data received as a result of carrying out of sociological research in the Penza, Ulyanovsk regions and republic Mordovia. The special attention
was paid to the studying of specificity leisure preferences and youth possibilities in the named regions. In the article analyzed ways of carrying out of a free time of young men depending on their social status and age and correlation of a spare time with other parts of budgets of time.
